This material is thinner than some other resins and also has a high heat resistance. Due to its durability and flexibility, LDPE is primarily used in film application where heat sealing is needed.

The surface area of the completed bag that comes into contact with the food is not exposed until the food is inserted into it. This protects against contamination during the manufacturing process.
